Children are invited to help prepare two original recipes. A Veggiecation instructor will provide the nutritional information of a featured "veggie of the day", which will be used throughout the class. Children will then be encouraged to try the dish they made! Stickers and coloring activities will be provided for attending kids.
Veggiecation classes educate and promote communities on the health benefits of vegetables and how to prepare them in simple, unique, affordable, and most importantly, delicious ways.
Note on currency: For fundraising activities outside of the UK you'll notice that tickets always show in British pounds. Don't worry, the funds will still go to the chosen charity and you can easily check how much the tickets are in your own currency by using the simple converter at this link: Show currency converter.
All Food Revolution Day activities are organized locally by their hosts, the Food Revolution Day team don’t have any involvement in their organisation. We will be tracking them, shouting about them on social media and providing free resources through our downloads page. Any enquiries and comments about a particular activity should be addressed directly to the host.
